The answer:

Your parents are a pair of assholes.

Ask your parents their position on the priests who molest children, and then ask why they still follow a God that would allow such behavior from his ‘messengers’, and then ask them why those priests did it. They won’t have an answer. Well, not one that makes any damn sense anyway.

But I do have an answer: Oppression causes perversion.

Do whatever feels natural. So long as you don’t hurt anyone else.
