I have no problem with single Mom’s.

The majority of animals in the world leave the child-rearing to the mother…

BUT:

The Mother must be a capable individual.

She should have a solid and dependable support system (friends or family).

She should not be on welfare. That’s just wrong on too many levels. Why should I pay for your kid?

She should not be a prostitute… (not because prostitution is bad necessarily, it’s just unpredictable).

She should really want to be a Mother - the baby should not be used as a trap to hold a man; or as a trick to hold a marriage together; or as a way to find unconditional love (because nobody else loves you); or as an ego boost - oh whoops, I forgot, all kids are an ego boost, a toy, a ‘mini-me because I’m-so-great-there-should-be-more-of-me’…

Anyway, the short answer is “No, I don’t have a problem with single Mom’s.” I just have a problem with idiot single Mom’s.
