As long as you realize that the only reason you had a baby was for your own ego, then you have found your answer - other people’s babies are not a part of you, they do not stroke your ego… in fact, they compete with it, and that is the worst thing for any ego to have to deal with.

Plus, you can never ‘win’ because the other Mother’s always have another story that is better than yours.

Yes, being self-centered and self-obsessed is all part of child-rearing, we wouldn’t survive unless our parents thought we were the most precious thing in the world.

The fact that your baby is just another baby that all the other Mother’s don’t give a f*ck about has completely passed you by, hasn’t it?

Well, now you know.

Just wait until school starts, you’re gonna wanna stab yourself in the face.
