The full question: ‘I’ve been with my boyfriend for 6 months and the other day after we had been fooling around he said he loved me, but since then he hasn’t said it and when I asked him about it he kind of brushed me off. What’s going on? And why did he say it if he didn’t mean it?’

The answer:

When he said it, he did mean it.

He just didn’t mean it in the same way you heard it.
